Musikk fra Fredens Hjerte - Gratis konsert i Litteraturhuset!
Konserten finner sted i Litteraturhuset, Nedjmasalen, Wergelandsveien 29, 0167 Oslo, onsdag den 7. juli, klokken 19.00.
Temple-Song-Hearts er et kvinnelig vokal- og musikkensemble, basert i London, men også med medlemmer fra ulike europeiske land. De har spesialisert seg på å fremføre den vakre og sjelfulle musikken til komponisten, forfatteren og fredsfilosofen Sri Chinmoy. De vakre og unike meditative tonebilder vil lett vekke dine egne indre landskap av glede og frihet. En unik musikalsk opplevelse!

Eva Lestander vil synge en av kunstneren Sri Chinmoys komposisjoner samt flere tradisjonelle svenske koraler. Disse vakre salmene er ofte flere hundre år gamle og var basert på de ulike varianter av tekstene som sto i salmebøkene. De synges med innslag av ornament og improvisasjon.
Eva studerer for tiden klassisk sang ved Norges Musikkhøyskole, men har sterke røtter i svensk folkemusikk og har turnert mye i vårt naboland med folkesangkvintetten Kraja.

Mountain Silence is a female vocal and instrumental ensemble from Switzerland, Germany, and Austria, who sing Sri Chinmoy's songs with the accompaniment of violin, cello, harmonium and guitar. They offer their prayerful performances in churches, monasteries and cathedrals throughout Europe. Here is the song Mayer Kripai from their album Tomare Rakhibo:

Silence and Sound, Kushali Tarantsova is a violinist who has studied in Donetsk, Ukraine for 11 years, followed by 5 years in the Prokofiev Conservatory of Donetsk and has played in the Ashkhabad Theatre Symphony Orchestra. The other half of Silence and Sound is Rageshri Muzychenko is a pianist from Kiev, Ukraine, where she has studied piano in the Kiev Music School. Adarsha Kelly, a singer from Glasgov, Scotland, developed his devotional singing style by immersing himself in Sri Chinmoy´s music during the last 35 years. He is currently an arts administrator on Sport and Culture in Glasgow. Here is Adarsha’s CD Songs of Self-Offering:

Sangit Desh is a truly international world music group. Jigyasu, the band leader, is from Finland and is a contemporay keyboard player. Andrés Ramon, from Colombia, has a degree in composition and piano from the Iceland Academy of the Arts in Reykjavik. The main vocalist, A. Martanda Sekse, comes from Norway and has performed professionally in various productions.
The ensemble Celestial Harmonies combines 2 unique artists. Martin Prettenhofer from Austria is a well known concert pianist, who studied concert piano and composition at the Music University in Graz, Austria, and he was awarded with many prices for his piano playing. Mandu Trummer plays the chinese Erhu, an exotic charming instrument, which sound resembles the singing voice of a woman or a child. Both qualities, soulful melodies and sophisticated piano parts are melting together in this unique ensemble and have created an own genre in the modern spiritual music interpretation.
